Hovanes Manucharyan CISSP, Founder and President
Mr. Manucharyan founded LinkGard Systems in early 2004. He brings more than a decade of experience in security, system administration, and networking. To address the unique challenges of the region, he relies on a team of local as well as US security experts.

Before starting LinkGard Systems, Mr. Manucharyan was a consultant at CreationPoint Systems, a US-based software and consulting company with its own intellectual property assets in software technologies such as automatic network monitoring & recovery systems, certified security expertise, content management systems, and workflow systems.

Prior to CreationPoint, Mr. Manucharyan was a member of the Cyber Attack Tiger Team (CATT) at Cable and Wireless. As a primary respondent to intrusions Mr. Manucharyan gained a hands-on understanding of how hackers operate at a variety of settings ranging from Fortune 100 enterprises to small e-commerce sites. Furthermore, he developed custom forensic analysis and security software that was utilized in order to strengthen security throughout the Cable and Wireless organization.

Mr. Manucharyan holds a BS degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge. Besides CISSP, he is also certified by MySQL AB (Certified MySQL Core) and Linux Professional Institute (LPIC Level 2).
